bodyfat measurement
OVERALL RATING
Today I had my final bodyfat measurement for the #200K Transformation contest. 3.5 years ago I measured in at 19.7% body fat. Today I measured in at 5.4% (dropped around ~4% during the contest). During this process, I didn't deprive myself of food, force myself to do weird fasted cardio routines, or take crazy supplements. I just did workouts I loved (gymnastics, running, crossfit, calisthenics, boxing, p90x) and made the process fun and enjoyable. I did stick to a strict diet, but one I sustain even after the contest ends. That's my main message for those trying to take control of their physical health and appearance. Choose activities that make you happy. Create a diet that you can stick to and still enjoy food. I see so many people online doing crazy things (such as diet pills and taking the yolk out of their eggs) to achieve goals that they cannot possibly maintain. Your mental happiness is the balance to the your physical well being. That's the path I chose as I participated in the contest. I am confident I can easily maintain my gains from the #200K Transform. And that's the most important goal of any fitness program, to maintain. I'll post my final results photos this weekend :)
