Diamonds are made from pressure.... Somedays I wonder if I'll crack before I ever shine....but then I remember I don't even like ******* diamonds...and I def don't need to be one to shine.... How to deal with pressure: 1. Learn to say No.. Not maybe, not I'll see, I'll try, or shouldn't be a problem......simply NO. And it's ok to say NO unapologetically without guilt. If you're feeling pulled in every direction at some point you're going to crash. Then everyone you said YES to will be no further ahead then if you would have just said no and allowed them to seek whatever their needing elsewhere. 2. Don't allow your kindness to become everyone else's crutch. There is nothing wrong with allowing your shoulder to be someone's pillow to cry on...but make sure your shoulders are big enough to handle your own tears before you take on someone else's. 3. Priorities..... Someone once said to me if 'if it/they/I was/were/am important enough I would make it happen...' I prefer to think of it as 'just because my actions don't resonate a message that screams this or it or you are a priority doesn't mean I never want it to happen"... Sometimes life gets so loud that you just don't have time for additional noise.....It doesn't mean that your withdrawal from certain scenarios and/or relationships is a silent indication that 'hey you don't matter to me'... It just means right now at this moment in my journey I need you to NOT mind and always remember that you DO matter... #truesupporters I'm still working on all three....each and everyday...... Ps. Full plate today and change in circumstances that resulted in NO time to get lifts in.....a small window of 25 minutes came open so I pounced on it..... #gratefulforhomegym A. Chest press superset with incline pushups B. Chest flies superset with uneven pushups on med ball 5sets of 20 reps each ..... Yep back to FEELING #popeyestrong!!!
