Transformation Tuesday
OVERALL RATING
Okay wow, so this is embarrassing. Pic on the left is my backside January 5, 2015 (3 months postpartum) and the pic on the right is my backside yesterday, February 16. This is why I LOVE progress pics and encourage all my clients to take them! Because guess what? I am only 2 lbs. different between these two pics. Based on my scale weight, I was feeling a bit discouraged like "how long is this gonna take??" But looking at this, I can only imagine where I will be in another 6 weeks! I wish I could say I've been 100% on point with my diet, or even 90%... but in all honesty it's been more like 80%. I love food! Also, a nursing mom, I am not cutting calories like crazy. I've set calorie and macro goals for myself but sometimes I eat a couple hundred calories more because I'm hungry and that's okay. I TRY to train for 60 minutes at least 5 days of the week but sometimes it ends up being only 45 minutes or 4 days. My point is, the process does NOT have to be perfect but you MUST keep pushing yourself! Do what you can. Let me tell you I make the most of my 45-60 minutes at the gym! When leg day is finished, I can't walk straight. Every week, I increase my weight or reps and track my strength as it increases. I do HIIT cardio and sprint until my lungs are on fire. I refuse to give up. Don't tell yourself "I'll never get there." Look back and appreciate how far you've come.
