week 4 challenge

The wisest words I have ever heard I had heard before but never really listened. And if I did, I would have reached my goal years ago. Wisest words I've ever heard (and am finally following) is "Abs are made in the kitchen." My goal at the current moment is not to get abs; I'm far from that and that's okay. My current goal is to get healthy and lose this unnecessary and unwanted fat that I've managed to gather in 9+ months. I used to be very healthy once but all I did was count calories. I gave myself a number and just stuck to keeping under that number. I at pizza, cookies, pancakes, pasta, burgers, fries, etc... and worked out for at least two to three hours a day. Little did I really understand that what you ate mattered. "Food is fuel." I took this concept into consideration about 6 weeks ago but fell off the wagon once I realized that my tasty treats weren't allowed. Just recently, I got back on the wagon. Started to eat healthy and watched exactly what I ate. At that point, numbers didn't matter... but I knew that if I wanted to meet certain goals, there must be a reason why some of these greats watch their "macros." Now that I am, I can attest to this change. Workouts + perfect eating + perfect supplementation (thanks, @bodybuildingcom) + rest = success Now I will finally see the changes that I have always wanted to see. Thank you for drilling this into my head, Brosef and Husbandpants. LET THE GAINS BEGIN!!! #200kchallenge
