For those of you with HIGH calf insertions, while you can blame "genetics" don't lose hope. Seated raises, standing raises, and raises on the leg press have all helped me. I varied my foot placement to hit them from all angles and alternated high/low reps each workout. Dedicate time for them at the BEGINNING of your workout. They will grow!
