I asked my client today if she was 110% this last week.. She said "100% but I didn't go that extra mile...." It made me think......It's easy to fall victim to the same old routine of showing up, going trough the motions and then questioning why nothing is changing. This is applicable not only in the gym but in life. Without digressing from my coaches plan too much, when I start to feel NOT that it's getting easier but rather that I'm getting stronger, I ask myself how can I take it up a notch. Ie. Adding a small pulse at the bottom of my lunge OR SL pressing what I was originally supposed to be narrow stance pressing (obviously I'm not going to do 15 reps SL but I def banged off 8 per leg) Remember being great requires you to do what others don't. Do you go that extra mile? Ps. 270x8 note to self: #begreat
