Merry Christmas

I I haven't slept since 6am December 24th. That's 40 hours of no sleep... But I wouldn't have had it any other way. Thanks to an amazing boyfriend & beyond amazing family, I was able to drive straight through the night to travel nine hours from Jacksonville, Florida to Nashville, Tennessee to spend Christmas morning with my father, aunt, and two cousins. I arrived at 5am to spend my very first Christmas morning with my father since I was 3 years old - over 23 years ago! This photo was taken moments after my father walked up the stairs and saw me. It took him a few seconds of staring me in the face to realize who it was that he was looking at (he couldn't believe it was me!), & when it finally registered, he couldn't stop hugging me and laughing. Being able to spend Christmas with my father and family was the most amazing gift I could have ever asked for. Maybe it's the cliche thing to say, but... I'm so incredibly blessed. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your loved ones. (P.S. I haven't lifted weights in over a week (eek!) because I've had the flu. Fitness updates will be coming soon! Sorry for all these non-fitness related posts!)
