Today was shoulders and again I had to get somewhat creative with the lack of equipment available. Yes those are 5lb weights...#mykidspoopbigger so rather than my typical 10-12 range I have been training in lately I bumped it up to 25 reps and circuited through these 5 exercises 5x. ??Upright rows with 3 second pause at the top ??Internal/external rotation ??shoulder press with emphasis on the negative ??lateral raises I finished off with a modified version of cable face pulls using the pulldown bar. 4x20 Side note Heavy is NOT the only way. Yes I loooooove to LIFT HEAVY but even when doing so I focus on the 'time under tension'- the amount of time your muscles stay contracted when trying to lift weight. This could include bodyweight too. Hence why I focus on negatives and pauses at certain points in the lift. Bottom Line: Do what you can with what you have because Anything is better then Nothing.......and it all MATTERS. Beach Time!!!
