Rise and rid yourself of the ridiculous excuses as to why you CAN'T....I bet this guy can give you 99 reasons why you CAN and a million more as to why you should be grateful for every **** one of them!!! This past weekend, this young man entered the gym via not 1 but 3 elevators. He and his wheelchair maneuvered through each machine, never skipping a set, a rep, an opportunity to get stronger. I watched as his efforts to remove himself from that chair appeared to be a workout in itself. Several times he needed to readjust his body in order to work the machine in a way that worked for his mobility, sometimes climbing in and out over and over again to adjust the weight. In the time it took me to complete an entire leg workout (9 exercises to be precise) he had moved 3 machines. I'm not sure how long he was there for, or how often he comes. I don't know what the circumstances of his chair were and whether this has always been a permanent in his life or something that occurred recently. What I am sure of is that for every able bodied sculpted heavy lifting fit person that occupied space in that gym that morning.... He was the 'strongest' of us all. #whatexcuse? #begrateful #inspirationiseverywhere
