It's Day 10 of no carbs. I am such a dodo bird! I calculated wrongly AGAIN! I thought my 10th day will end this friday (I didn't count the weekend that just past) but it actually ends today. However I won't be carbing up will Sat as I have already made plans for that. My energy levels are still ok because I'm eating about 2250 to 2500 kcal & the high fat in my diet is keeping me sane. (I post examples on my facebook athlete page www.facebook.com/MelissaSarahWee) . I'm only doing this long period of no carbs as I'm just starting CKD. As of next week I will carb up once every 6 days. My muscles are flat and I do feel a little depleted. Can't wait to load up on carbs this weekend.
