First day back in the gym after twoooo lonnnng weeks! Still limited with lifting but I said to myself "take advantage of every opportunity presented before you..." That was how I convinced myself to get through the longest 20minutes of stepper hell today! Anything to get my legs going so Long deep hamstring slicing glute firing strides followed by a 'bodyweight' leg circuit... Yep bodyweight! But I'm a bodybuilder not a weightlifter- BIG DIFFERENCE! And I was able to limp out of the gym just as I would any other leg day. It's one thing to walk into the gym, load the **** out of a machine with plates and go ballz out to reach that big 1 or 2 rep max while grunting and groaning like your mid ******. And kudos if this is your game plan- I would be lying if I said I don't love to push my limits every now and then too(minus the orgasmic moans). But building my body is a process and like all great things built in this world, it takes time and patience, practicing day in and day out, learning to listen to your body, understand what it's doing, working through the kinks, control and conquer and above all trusting in the process. Yep I am a bodybuilder...not a weightlifter therefore weights or no weights(temporarily) I am officially under construction!!!
