progress?

I know these are not quite a year apart but I’ve been working on myself off and on throughout this past year, really kicking in gear around the end of July. So about 4months of consistent work… and I feel like these look almost the same. I know I’ve lost around 20lbs though from my highest weight, I just can’t tell if my eyes are playing tricks on me. It’s my birthday today and my family is posting on my Facebook pictures of me from my party last year and I don’t even recognize myself. I’m praying to God I’m not the same as I was a year ago. I don’t want to be that person I see in those pictures. I know you always seem to look 1000% worse in pictures other people take of you but man… I want to see change.
