This is a a really tough one for some of us especially when we have doctors that tell us the answer to all of our health issues is our weight. We can workout all week, eat healthy, like what we are seeing in the mirror but we get on that scale and if the number goes up or just sits there, it can can totally destroy our mood, our self confidence and make us feel like a failure and make those voices in our head say, whatâs the point and make us want to run to the chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. When that happens I just need time remember, my worth is not based on the numbers on the scale no matter what my doctor says. Those numbers can also be new muscle, water weight and yes that extra treat I had. Again, itâs not easy when your whole life youâve based your attractiveness and appearance on the number on the scales but if you are feeling good about yourself and your clothes are fitting or are getting a little lose, donât let the scales determine your self worth and be the deciding factor of your happiness. Cut yourself some slack. You are a work in progress.
