knee update

Health update. As a lot of you know, my left knee started hurting last March and then it started popping in November. I finally got into a physical therapist and had her check things out. Good news. The doctor told me I have legs like a ballet dancer, and my knees want to bend the other way. Nothing to be worried about, our bones just ware down over time. She also wants me to start working out my legs at the gym, so on Monday, I get to use the leg machines at the GYM! WOO-HOO! I stopped back in March because I thought it would hurt my legs. Funny thing too. I have been cutting back on my calories and trying to loose fat and the doctor said that in the process, I have lost muscle and itâs the muscle I need to strengthen my knee so she recommended I eat more, especially protein. Funny, one doctor say eat less and lose weight and this one says, EAT MORE! You canât win. I still have an MRI next week JUST to make sure all is good but I am happy to say, the end results is, I am an old man who needs to work some of those muscles I have neglected and I need to eat a little more protein and other foods to strengthen my muscles. All in all, Iâm very happy with that.
