On the Vergeâ¦
OVERALL RATING
I think Iâm on the verge of becoming the most shredded Iâve ever been⦠10+ years long natural fitness journey and Iâm still going strong always pushing myself to keep getting better! I feel like more people give up on their goals more than ever now because there are so many unrealistic expectations to how quickly and what in general is actually achievable naturally. If I was just starting out, Iâd be so confused. The idea of fast results and simple short term gratification is destroying more every day the potential and appreciation that long term progression gives you. Donât be deceived. Quick doesnât stick. Anything significant takes time to achieve. And real results will last. Fitness is what truly taught me discipline. Consistency is all about discipline over a long period of time. Hard work can only go so far without being consistent. If youâre disciplined with consistent hard work then progress really is endless as long as you keep going on your journey. You gain a massive appreciation for the grind as you persevere through it too. And the majority of people will never experience that feeling only because they didnât stay the course. Throughout my decade plus long fitness journey, so much else has happened in my life. Iâm in a drastically different place than I was when I first started. And yet I have never stopped my grind once. I even had over a brutal 2 year period having to deal with a lingering C7 fracture. But still, I came back better than ever. You are beyond capable of accomplishing your goals, achieving bigger and bigger ones, as long as you never give up on yourself and donât stop wanting and working for more. You need to think long term. Donât be foolish, but absolutely stay ambitious. Your journey wonât be completely linear either, but make sure in the long run itâs progressive! No limits Aliens!
