Maybe Iâm just thinking our loud but before covid in March of 2020, before I put on my suit and tie and drove to work, I used to get up early and hit the gym at 5 AM. Iâd put on my favorites tank top and work out gear, grab my head phones and music and jump on my favorite corner treadmill and walk enthusiastically for an hour. Iâd then hit the machines and weights and when I walked out the door I was always on cloud nine. It made me feel proud that I got up and did something for ME! It filled me with pride and energy, contentment and accomplishment. Iâve continued to work out at home on a treadmill and use some free weights but itâs just not the same. I never canceled my membership to the gym even if I wasnât going. Iâm feeling optimistic about the future. Iâm setting a goal to return to the gym. I feel that at 5 AM it is still pretty empty and Iâve gotten used to my KN95 masks. Yes Iâm triple vaxxed as well. I have a doctors appointment on the 15th and Iâm going to ask him for his advice but I just feel like I need to slowly reintroduce myself back into the world. Slowly, safely and cautiously.
