Yesterday a super fit ultramarathoner girl in my cycling club, by chance, did virtually the same ride I did an hour or so later. It really encouraged me to find we did virtually the same speed - hers on the left was 20.3kph vs mine on the right 20.4kph (maps wouldn’t fit if I got the speeds in). I know she’ll do 10x or more km/wk than me. That’s ok. She’s 20yrs younger. I’m happy with my win. And bonus - she gave me kudos :)
