Told this a couple of years ago, but have many new friends, so hope youâll indulge me one more time. It as 3 years ago today my mom passed away. Iâll always believe she was determined to hold on until after Christmas Day. You may have noticed in my workout pictures the gold nugget I always wear. It is th actual engagement ring my Dad gave my mom when he proposed back in 1953. She had it melted down & the diamond set. She gave it to me on my 18th birthday. Not being a jewelry person (I wear none) it spent many years in the vault at the bank. The last conversation I had with her, she asked me about it. How I wish I would have had it on that night. Now I rarely take it off. Well anyway, thanks for reading this far. Hope you all had a very merry Christmas.
