Time to Mend

There were a few unknowns going into the surgery. Knew a ligament in my thumb was weak enough that the joint was unstable and inflaming, but not to what degree. My thumb was not structurally straight. Turns out the ligament was overstretched and torn. I'm really glad I got the surgery and it went great. Doc mended it and cleaned up the joint. Nerve block wore off last night so now there's some pain bt meds kicking in. Looking at 4 wks in a hard splint then pt. Not a leftie but now I have to be lmao
