Out here in Mass, the gymâs are still closed. Pretty sure for potentially another month... This time away from the gym has got me feeling different. I have a fire inside me ready to lift some heavy weights. At the same time though, Iâve rediscovered my love for HIIT, mainly Bodyweight too. The first workout program I ever did was Shaun Tâs insanity and thatâs what truly got me hooked with exercise. My body transformed, my mentality strengthened. I loved working out. Immediately after that program though, I started seriously going to the gym and got into lifting heavy, started competing in powerlifting and that passion stuck for the years to follow. Powerlifting actually is what mentally converted me over from baseball player always at the batting cages to meathead always at the gym lol Powerlifting has been the main focus for so long, I forgot what my body feels like prioritizing full body HIIT workouts. Itâs 100% so frikin different, but honestly I feel amazing. The only weight Iâve touched in at least 2 months (who can tell time now) is the 15 lb dumbbells for my YouTube series. My muscularity is holding on pretty solid and like I said, I feel awesome so Iâm happy :) I am beyond excited though to get back into the gym when possible, so donât get that mistaken. But Iâve had a really nice change of pace honestly being unable to hit the gym and Iâm feeling more motivated than I have in a while to transform my physique into something next level.
