OVERALL RATING
I heard something the other day that really struck a cord with me: âTry to think back to something someone did that was really embarrassing. 75% of the time, youâre going to struggle to remember that mortifying thing they did. And if you are able to remember it, think about how many times youâve actually thought about it since it happened. If youâre like 99% of the population, youâve only thought about it once or twice since it happened... so, why are you afraid of what people will say if you decide to try something new? People talk then they move on & forget.â Because I have the memory of a goldfish, Iâm obviously paraphrasing what I heard but the core message remains unchanged: people are so busy with their own lives, they donât have time to think about yours. Take this down time (thanks âRona) & figure out the things youâve always wanted to do. Write out a list then figure out how to accomplish everything on that list. If youâve ever held yourself back for fear of what anyone might say or think, remind yourself that weâre all too busy with our own lives to think about yours - & what a powerfully liberating realization that can be. ps. I look deep in thought but Iâm actually just making eye contact with the neighbor that keeps peeping through his window to watch me... neighbor, if youâre reading this: I SEE YOU. pss. Body recomping since we started this whole âsocial distancingâ/stressed to the MAX thing 3 weeks ago. ??ââï¸ Bright side? psss. Do people actually read all the way to the end of these long *** captions?
