Exercise is proven to be one of the best methods to relieve stress. Take that into consideration when you actually workout. If youâre miserable the whole time at the gym because youâve convinced yourself you hate it, then you will. Feeling like you have to do something you hate is a stressor. Donât be counterproductive! We find so many excuses that hold us back from reaching our physical goals. We hinder ourselves with perceived perfection of how it has to be done. What if instead of trying to get results the fastest based off whatâs said to work best, we focus on working out for our own happiness? I genuinely believe there is a form of exercise or at least physical activity that everyone is able to find some level of enjoyment from. Whether itâs truly fun or just an internal motivation that makes you feel better about yourself...do that way! Focus on what fuels your fire. Whether you have 30 minutes or 2 hours, a full gym or do calisthenics in the park, it makes no difference when you workout to be happy. Why? Because you do what works best for you, not someone else and thatâs when you can reap the benefits of real stress relief from exercise. Efficiency will improve, but only with consistency. A stress-free system is exponentially easier to sustain and build!!!
