Trying out my Saucony Excursion TR for a quick mile run and then some stretching. My shoulder is what needs stretching the most. LOL These runners felt good. I will save them for trail running once the snow melts. This was my best mile so far even if it was just to test out some footwear. Keep focused. Remember the goal. Learn through tempo runs. Develop the hills in spring. Practice the sprint sets. The thing I was pondering yesterday was not to be so concerned with speed but develop stamina and endurance. Scars are not signs of weakness, they are signs of survival and endurance. Most people never run far enough on their first wind to find out they've got a second - itâs about discovering and disciplining my body for endurance of long races to achieve my 5K. Unless you have courage, a courage that keeps you going, always going, no matter what happens, there is no certainty of success.
