Good morning. Dec 26. It was a year ago today that my mom passed away, The gold nugget shown here is the original engagement ring my dad gave her when he proposed to her. She had li melted down & the diamond reset. She gave it to me for Christmas the year I graduated high school. After awhile, me not being a jewelry person, I stored it at the bank, where it stayed for many years. In the last conversation she & I had, she asked if I ever wore it anymore. I lied & said I did. Unfortunately, she didn’t see it on me before she died. I decided that from now on, I will wear it in her honor. So if you notice it in any of my workout photos, that is the story behind it.
