My diet and new program started today. I ended up having to do a lot more work during the day as planned so I didnât make it over to the gym until 830. When I finished warming up, it was 9 and I was ready to get after it. Then an announcement over the loudspeaker said the gym had to close at 10 due to a pipe burst (itâs normally open 24 hours). There was no shot I was going to get through my whole powerlifting workout in an hour. I also was not trying to rush through things especially in the beginning of something new. Frustration really kicked in. I only managed to get through squats and deadlifts (which btw was 23 sets total) before the gym closed. I had 2 options at this point. Call it for the day and not complete my workout which is what I honestly wanted to do. Instead though, I did option number 2. I drove all the way to the other GymIt location which was still open and finished my workout by midnight. I want them gains more than anything. Set the **** tone. No limits!
