A lot of people have asked how I started my weight loss journey. Iâm not a doctor so what Iâm sharing isnât probably safe and every body is different so result very. Iâm the guy that used to mindlessly eat a dozen donuts and a large pizza for dinner or go through the drive thru windows and order one of everything on the menu and eat in my car hence me weighing over 300. I started on weight watchers. Because I wanted to eat lots of food still I would go to drive ins and order as many low point items I could and stay within my daily points. For example Taco Bell has the lowest points so Iâd eat as many tacos as I could. Fresh fruits and vegetables were zero points so even though those were my last choice I ate those whenever I was hungry to fill myself up. In the past I had to give up pizza and other foods. On weight watchers I just had to limit my intake. First week I weighed myself it blew my mind that I could lose weight and still eat at McDonaldâs and Pizza Hut. I know chicken breasts and brown rice are the âhealthierâ choice but I needed something I could live with and I never stayed on diets because they were foods I hated. It was a miracle. I now still eat those low point foods and I guess if I wanted to be a bodybuilder or fitness model and have bodies like you other fellas I would prep my meals for the week and eat every 2 hours and maybe I will someday but for now Iâm just going to combine smarter food choices and 5 days a week on the treadmill.
