This is a Deadlift Jack which is used to raise a bar and make it easier to remove 45 pound plates when you are done. This was taken last summer at what WAS a Golds Gym in Racine Drive in Wilmington NC. I've trained there on vacation a few years and it is a great HARDCORE gym. TOO hardcore for Golds which has gone wimpy mainstream . It's now an O2 Fitness.
