Sometimes after a #restday my body doesnât want to respond to a new week of #workouts Then add allergies to the mix and it often seems an impossible task. This #monday I was back in my home gym and pushing through my #legday and #armworkout I combined the two for a couple reasons. One because I wanted too. Secondly because I did. Each week I am getting gains on my #triceps and #biceps That is also helping me improve my shoulder strength and stamina. Nine years ago I never imagined myself in this position of fitness. Through a #fitgrandpaonajourney #fitguyonajourney I have learned a lot about my body and things I still need to work on and develop. For many people my age. Yes those in their fifties - they have given up or they tell me they are too old to start. Whatâs even sadder is guys my age want a fit wife while they let themselves go. Being a #couchpotato doesnât end well. Whether you come off a tough weekend or allergies smack you or some other health issues try to knock you down there really is no reason not too. Hey its like my coach once said back in high school while at basketball ? practice and we were running lines... Suck it up buttercups!!! You will thank me in the fourth quarter. And we did. When other teams faded we got stronger. Friends itâs about getting in the gym. Forgetting what is behind you last week and pressing to what is ahead. #mondaymotivation #armday #grandpa #grandson
