This was at end of 36hr fast. Did 27 miles no food during fast and 2hrs swimming. Training body for extreme situations, humans did not always have luxury of easy access to food. I do this about 4 times per year, helps also train for emergency situation where will need have no food and still need do intense physical activity. Muscle loss likely, but endurance better.
