Pushing my arms and shoulders in my #homegym this week. I want to challenge myself and get results at the same time. I am going through 45 minutes of intense #dumbbellworkout and developing my #bicepsworkout and #tricepsworkout and #shoulderworkout to improve the over all strength and size of my upper body. I love getting in the gym and feeling the pump. I enjoy the soreness the next day from a hard workout. I use to try to do this all by fad diets and no gym time. I wanted the quick fix which wasnât a fix at all. Yup. Been there. Done that. Have the fat clothes. Almost everything happens fast in todayâs world. Texts fly from one phone to another, people can track you down anywhere and everywhere, planes zip you from point A to point B in no time at all, and you can order anything online and have it delivered the next day. Itâs no wonder weâre all looking for the same immediacy with our health and fitness goals! #noquickfix #faddietsdontworkforgrandpas #tuesdaymotivation #tuesdaymorning Often times, the the fads that produce quick, short-term gains usually backfire. Or worse, when you set yourself up to believe that a health or fitness goal can be attained in a super short period of time, you run the risk of being disappointed and abandoning the new habits completely. That certainly doesnât help you get to a healthier place. So do like I did.
