im a rookie?

.. someone read something I posted and called me a ârookieâ because I tend to weigh myself several times a week and not one every 30-45 days as it âshould beâ albeit I tend to not weigh myself on weekends. Itâs ok ... you open yourself to opinions when you post publicly. Itâs all good. ? Itâs a tool I use and using it several times a week doesnât mean Iâm doing it wrong. Ultimately as long as Iâm successful in my fat loss journey and Iâm doing it in a healthy fashion (not starving myself,etc) itâs ok to use a scale daily, weekly or yes monthly if you wish. Itâs up to you. So why the rookie comment? Ok .. so maybe Iâm a rookie in the gym perhaps ... but Iâm learning something new every day and Iâm jotting down ideas as to how I can approach things and Iâm always open to advise and constructive criticism. Iâve spoken to a dietician and Iâve received advise from legit trainers who all agree that daily checks on your weight is fine as long as you donât live by the scale. If you want to weigh yourself every 30-45 days thatâs fine too. Thereâs not a wrong or right. My photos of progression are also something that helps me see how Iâm looking and improving. I share my journey with my fit family because believe it or not you guys help me stay accountable. I will continue to weigh myself several times a week or a couple times ... as long as I donât let the number be the only indicator of my progress. That is all.
