rest in peace
OVERALL RATING
Hi body friends. Not to get too personal on here, as I have been MIA for the past few days. Sadly I lost my mother in law on Tuesday morning after a brave and courageous battle with cancer that affected her lungs and brain. I met her shortly after I began dating my now wife 4 years ago. Many people tend to have contentious relationships with in laws, but I was fortunate with mine. She was a very shirt off the back kind of person. Itâs been pretty tough so I had to take a few days off of improving myself physically. When she was initially diagnosed back in July 2016, she was told the battle could be as little as 4-7 months. She was able to sustain 18 months of a hard fought battle. She, as a person, never did anything to have triggered her diagnosis, she was just an unfortunate one to get it. I took this pic of us in September of 2017, a day after I attempted my first inline skate half marathon. I was obviously not ready, as I was only able to complete 8 of 13 miles. I plan to participate again later this year and her strength is a big reason I am on here to better myself health wise. Iâve also needed to take these past few days off to be with my wife as she did an amazing job in taking care of my mother in law. Iâm incredibly proud of my wife as well as her mother, and I was also lucky to have considered my mother in law as a mom. Rest In Peace.
