When you get up in the morning and understand that hard work demands commitment and discipline you throw back the covers. Drink your #preworkoutdrink and get that #workout done. Certainly my health journey has been met with pitfalls and laziness. Oh yes there have been times I use to surrender to the pillow and stay in bed. Not that I donât have those feelings anymore. I choose not to embrace them. I have a goal. I have a plan. I choose to be #fitafter50 I choose to get up and do my #fastedcardio and ride my #recumbentbike I can sense my stamina at work is stronger. I can feel my alertness is greater because I have taken the time to take care of me. The only way you will make a choice to live a #healthylifestyle is to just do it. Itâs to #loveyourself enough to make it happen. Itâs to deliberately begin. I never started losing weight by staying a #couchpotato I never started toning up work with #weightlifting by just looking at the #dumbbells I started seeing results when I was committed to #weightlossjourney and to #liftingweights by actually getting in my #gymworkouts in. Laying on the couch wonât help you get results. But getting into workout clothes and hitting the cardio and weights actually will. I am stronger at 55. I am healthier at 55.
