The power went out at the normal @bestfitnessclubs I workout at in Chelmsford, MA so I trooped it to the Best in Nashua, NH...canât be skipping leg day!!! Todayâs lift marked the start of my last 2 weeks of training before my next Powerlifting meet on November 18 in Dover, NH. The fed Iâll be competing in is @usapowerlifting . I made the decision this time to not cut weight though. Iâm obviously putting my all into training and will of course as well on the platform at the meet. Iâve just been training so energized and full at around 195 lbs that I basically chose a while ago to just compete at whatever I weigh in at and focus strictly on my lifts. I always go back and forth with what I want my weight to be at so I just took that physically and mentally out of the equation this time to be more consistent. My first few meets I was weighing in at around 160 lbs. The last few 180 lbs. This time I bulked up and will go in probably at 195-198 lbs. Competition will be higher obviously, but I basically chose to compete solely against myself this time and have more fun with it. I just canât wait to be back on the platform and give it all I got. Then after that, weâll take it from there. No limits!
