OVERALL RATING
My first ever "progress photo" was taken on February 28, 2014. My most current progress photo was taken at 7am on August 12th, 2017 (this morning.) 119lbs vs 136lbs. Let me first say this: there is nothing wrong with the body on the left. This comparison isn't something I'm posting to shame the body on the left. Rather, I'm posting this to remind myself (and others) that lasting change of any sort takes time; it's going to take frustration (ohhhh the frustration! ?), more sweat than you can imagine, wrong turns, bad decisions, & daily pep talks. Change is going to require you to take a deep, hard look at yourself and your life, & figure out what's wrong and what needs to be fixed. Change is the most uncomfortable thing you will ever go through... but, it's also the most rewarding. I look at these two photos and I notice the little things; the way the texture of my hair has changed because I no longer starve myself for fear of gaining weight and the way I used to slump out of my own self consciousness. I think the smartest thing I ever did was take control of my health. The change in my physique was nice but the greatest thing about the whole process has been the positive way in which my mind changed. If you're reading this now & you're on the fence about getting healthy, I hope this gives you the courage to take that first step. If you have questions, need advice, or just need a pep talk, reach out to me (I'm an expert pep talker ?) I'm happy to help! Anywho, I'm gonna wrap up this novel... I hope you fools have an amazing Saturday â¤ï¸ï¸
