after back day today
OVERALL RATING
This is after a 4000 calorie high day yesterday and my back day today, I was feeling pumped? No longer working with a trainer, went back to doing my own thing. *This next part will change as I get more lean or if I began moving in the wrong direction* I'm back to eating 1800cals to lose a lb/wk, no cardio, cycling these calories throughout the week. I will be eating 1400 all week, protein set at bodyweight, fats at about 15-20%, then the rest are carbs. If I eat 6 days at 1400, I'll have 1 high day/wk at 4000cals and I'm not worried about where these calories come from on this day(if I choose to eat eat 1400 4 days I'll have 3 days at 2300, if I choose 5 days at 1400 I'd have 2 days at 2700. Hopefully that helps you understand I'm just distributing my calories to lose weight throughout the week and I'll still have the same calorie deficit as if I was eating 1800 daily. This is not a refeed or so much a free cheat meal, these days are specifically to meet my calorie goal staying in a defecit without having to eat 1800 every day)*this is what I've found to still work for me, I honestly don't know the science behind this method. My guess is maintaining higher metabolism keeping calories as high as you can as long long as you can while still losing bf, lower stress hormones, and still being in a deficit* Everything for me has been steadily moving in the direction as planned, losing about a lb/wk and last I checked my body fat had gone down, but I want to check again here soon because I know hydration can cause weight and body fat to fluctuate a lot.
