Posture is IMPORTANT
OVERALL RATING
So here I was finishing up with light weight controlled squats followed by this exercise here with the kettle bell. The goal here was to have my core tight and flexed the entire time. Keeping the back flat as a board as you go down as low as you can and go all the way to the top. The idea here is to go as slow as you can while keeping tension on your muscles and not your knees or back. If you try this and have a hard time getting low it's often caused by tight hamstrings and hips. So do what you can with the range of motion you have today. But be sure to research some quad stretches and hip mobility exercises if this is hard for you. Also you dont need any weight for this to work. I do this at my standing desk throughout the day at the office. Appreciate you reading this. If you have questions please feel free to ask. Coach Chuck D!
