years of progress
OVERALL RATING
I posted this to my instagram a couple days ago and immediately overwhelmed by the response. I never set foot on my journey to impress anyone or get attention. One of the things that really got the ball rolling on my journey, was not a body transformation, but a health transformation. The old me would bake a cake, set it out on the kitchen counter with a fork and proceed to eat the whole thing by myself. I would have competitions to see who could clear the most plates at a buffet. Growing up, an acceptable dinner would be pizza rolls or velveta mac and cheese. I knew nothing about the effect of food on my body. It was when I started having symptoms of insulin resistance did I understand the path I was on would eventually kill me and I had to change to survive. Between these pics is a difference of 67 pounds of body fat and years of educating myself on nutrition and exercise and applying it to my everyday life. I never once imagined when I started that I would one day have a positive impact on someone else. If your out there reading this, wishing it can be you, it definitely is possible and to achieve this, you might have to change a few habits and some people might have to commit to making over the entire way you live your life. My number one priority is quality of life throughout my lifetime. If this isn't a very high priority to you, be prepared for your body to pay the price.
