Cardio today! Ok, now for some real talk. Look at my gut on the left. I've been completely focused on bulking up and in doing so I've neglected important parts of my workout. I'm sharing this because there are many of you that have a hard time with this specific area. Let me tell you what you/I need to do (these are in order)! 1) DIET. I believed the dirty bulk lie and ate junk thinking I could outwork my diet. You can't. Eat healthy! Good whole foods. Dont starve yourself either; your body needs energy. Carbs and fat are not your enemies. 2) DONT SKIP LEG DAY. Working these big muscles burns more calories than anything else. I put off leg workouts waiting for better equipment and it's not a coincidence that this gut reappeared at the same time. 3) GET IN SOME CARDIO WORK. In addition to calorie crushing, there are a ton of benefits to cardio including heart health, increased metabolism, and improved recovery ability. By performing the exercise you will increase your muscle's ability to utilize glucose. This type of exercise also reduces your appetite and helps your body use fat for energy, which leads to weight loss over time. Sweat it out ?
