Get your head right first!
What may seem like limitations in your life can actually be used as an asset to you. You have been specifically designed for the race that you’re in, so keep strong in your faith no matter how discouraging your circumstances may seem.
Visualization is the most essential aspect of smashing through limits which are mostly selfimposed. Limits should be viewed as temporary levels of achievement that can and will be surpassed.
Be careful of your words, for they become your thoughts. Be careful of your thoughts, for they become your actions. Be careful of your actions, for they become your character. Be careful of your character, for it becomes your destiny.
Don't fall into the trap of believing that successful people possess some mysterious gift or some mystical endowment, and then rip your hair out wondering if you've been so blessed or not. If you truly desire to be successful, then do so!
I remember when I was 13, I asked the orthropedic specialist if I could ever be a weight lifter. His response was "lift weights? You should be happy to walk." This was due to scoliosis, a 4 inch leg length difference + 1 knee missing the ACL.
Last June of 2014, I was rushed to the hospital and had emergency surgery in which part of my large & small intestines had to be removed, due to an impingement. I was unable to eat or exercise for weeks. I did my best to get my body back in 17 weeks.
Never doubt your own capabilities because others are betting against you. I was told that it would not be possible for me to lift weights, or even become an athlete do to a number of orthopedic deformities and several diseases that I was born with.
90 days of progress after having a 13 portion of my intestine removed in an emergency surgery. This was one of the most painful, and challenging experiences of my life. I feel blessed that my recovery has moving at twice the projected speed!
The time is RIGHT NOW!
This is my first progress picture since having 13 inches of my large intestine removed during an emergency surgery, just 72 days ago. Recovery has been tough, but I'm fighting hard to get my body back!

Finally back into training, 2 moths after having a section of my intestines removed during an emergency surgery. Recovery was tough, but I promised everyone I would be back at it sooner than later! :)
Recently competed in Ford's Power-lifting meet. I managed to win My class and best lifter award pulling a 570 lb. dead-lift at a body weight of 177 lbs. To think there there was a day when doctors said I would never lift weights again. Never give up!

A true champion- is someone who makes the conscious decision to become a self-actualizer, that is- one who continuously looks to intrinsic rewards as their primary source of motivation

A recent photo taken during shoot with Corso Photographic- performing a set of dead-lifting with 525 lbs. I managed to bring myself down to 4% body fat for this shoot- while being hypothyroid.
