April 20, 2015...Just a heads up to all the young 'uns out there. I am a juicy crone who feels much too young to be the actual age I am on my come-back trail after injuries in the past year. Doing at this age is challenging but CAN DO & AM!
In typical cat-tastic ways our male cat Nova is not impressed or as enthused as I am over my new fit bit HR charge tracker. Oh well, did not dampen my enthusiasm at all. Love this technology.
Our dog Tashka, she loves going on walks with us and she is keenly interested in checking out the new Fit Bit HR hubs David gave me to support my health and fitness goals for 2015 and beyond.
Every now and then I need to refer to this Metabolism 101 Tips and Tidbit list. Simple, to the point and works for me and hopefully some others here too.
I used to be a lot harder on myself with perfectionist thinking and it was counter productive. Now I focus on thriving beyond surviving with self-loving art of living like this! Far healthier in every way.
Another heads up for me...reframed my sense of self and weight goals..2015 & beyond strong mind-body connection at the healthiest weight for the healthiest life.
Modern humanity has become more physically inactive than any of its predecessors... With the advent of convenience technologies and packaged food, humanity has begun to suffer. Find out how important nutrition and exercise really are!
Feeling fit and fab and ageless. In my view it is not age...it is attitude and balance in body, mind, spirit, energy and emotion. In my experience age is just a number and does not have to define us unless we allow it.
This is the link to the personal development company my hubs David and I co-direct. We share a commitment to empowering others and living their best life at any age and know it is never too early...or too late to create a fresh beginning.
These are my goals over bulking. When I first checked out this site I thought I'd be out of place with the high emphasis on body-building. It is really good to know that there are other aspects to this forum and I appreciate the resources.

My body dynamics changes over the years. In my youth I struggled with anorexia, bulemia and body image issues for years. I binged abused laxatives, purged and starved my body in one extreme to another. Not NOW in good shape.
I created a blog called Fit, Fab and Ageless where I post information about remaining healthy, strong and well into advanced years. Topics include fitness, healthy aging, life extension, longevity etc.
