Back in 2006 and 2007 I had a roommate that used to be a personal trainer, and he taught me the basics of bodybuilding and guided me through the gym. I didn't have any sort of set program, since I was mostly just learning how everything worked and what exactly my body could handle. I've moved around the country a few times since then, and I've dabbled here and there with different gyms, supplements, and workout programs. Now that I'm settled down and able to keep a steady schedule, my program has gotten into full swing and I'm steadily moving along.
Sometimes it can be a hassle, but the feeling from it is great. Results are always awesome to see, and it's a lifestyle that you can feel proud of. Definitely worth the hard work put into it... plus it's an addiction - if I end up having to take time off from it, I feel like I'm going through withdrawal of sorts. Gotta get my fix!
