I have always been active and wanting a fit lifestyle. I was concerned about continuing to be fit during pregnancy and beyond which is when I really got interesting in weight training. I did a lot of research and tried new workouts in the gym and would watch girls with amazing physics while I was doing my cardio to get training ideas. I have been a regular at the gym ever since. If i couldn't afford an gym membership I would workout at home. I worked out through all 5 of my pregnancies, (only to 23 weeks with my twins) till the day they were born. When they were a couple days old and I was feeling ok I would put them in a baby sling and get on the treadmill and walk for my workouts till I was able to lift. Its a way of life and moving makes he happy!
I love pushing my mind and body to new limits, I love seeing the everyday results from being consistent. Its my "me" time and it helps me get through everyday feeling strong and accomplished and definitely helps relieve stress! I have competed in 3 figure competitions and recently swept the entire figure category in the NPC Idaho Cup with 4 wins, Figure Overall Winner, 1st place figure class D, 1st place Maters over 35 and Maters Overall Winner! An experience I will never forget. I'm so impressed with the women I have met in this field, they are so strong inside and out and so inspiring and genuinely nice! I feel extremely lucky to be a part of such hard working dedicated people. I just want help people get motivated to be the best they can be no matter what that is for them. I am a single mom of 6, I'm back in school and I work, so I know first hand how hard it can be to make time in a busy schedule for workouts and healthy eating habits. But if I can do it anyone can, we each make time to do the things that we value are important, and what is more important than our health and wellbeing so we can be better at everything else we do! I would love to help and inspire women all over the globe to be their best self!!
