I love bodybuilding for several reasons. The first is because it reminds me to be grateful to be alive. I spent some of the best years of my life serving as a United States Marine, and I feel like I owe it to those who gave their lives to use that freedom they sacrificed for to live my life to the best of my ability in all things and never settle for mediocrity. Secondly, by having my children watch me eat clean, good foods and work out, I am setting a good example for them so they have a better chance of not falling prey to the typical modern lifestyle. Third, being physically fit allows me to have the strength necessary to farm and do all the things I need to do with my plants, tools and livestock without having to rely on my husband to do heavy lifting for me. And, as an added perk, even after four kids, my husband still thinks I'm hot!
