This is my second tour...first was ages ago which as a skinny kid with a fast metabolism had a hard time making any real gains for the effort and food consumed (I was a beanpole 6'2" 126lbs when I graduated HS) . Fast forward 30+ years a wife and two daughters later my metabolism no longer as fast and thus started gaining undesirable weight. Got back into working out first with a basic barbell and cage setup and later I joined Anytime Fitness as I travel significantly and I wanted a less crowed gym that still had a good equipment selection and nationwide access.
Time spent in the gym is time where I can concentrate on one thing, working out! Feeling and starting to notice gains / transformation is a great sense of personal accomplishment. Further fulfilling a dream from my 20's to actually have a muscular build and the strength to go along with it!
