I began my weightlifting journey in high school after some pretty serious injuries sidelined me from my other activities / hobbies / sports. I worked out sporadically during my college years, my body also was dramatically changing during this time making lifting feel significantly more challenging, but I guess that happens when you grow 6 more inches as a young adult. My muscles became long, my body lean and I lost a significant amount of weight (stupid metabolism). I continued to exercise sporadically during my early career, but life was always willing to provided obstacles to get in the way. Attempting to make a name for yourself in oneâs profession tends to do this sort of thing; then, I purchased a 100 year old house and started 10 year renovation process. Finally, enough was enough, and it was time to started thinking about my health again (both physically and mentally). So I started lifting again⦠I am not sure what the future holds, but I am definitely enjoying my time in the present.
