I have always been very athletic, and play professional Rugby League in Australia and England. Lifting was always part of Rugby but I started to really lift when I retired in 2008. Firstly I had to strip down the excess weight I had from playing rugby as I retired at 100kg, I dropped to 83kg to start over. As soon as I focussed on my diet and what I was doing in the gym I knew Iâd the void that was going to replace professional sport. I love the feeling I get after a good session in the gym nothing compares.
Why I Love it
Every gain or goal achieved brings a feeling of accomplishment and itâs only me that can take it to the next level. Iâm along way off my final goal so still lots of work to do.
