I fell in love with weight training as a sophomore in high school as I was training for wrestling, but I soon began to love my training more than the wrestling. I gave up wrestling after that year and after meeting Jay Cutler and getting some encouragement, I decided to compete. As I graduated college I took some time off and was training for a career in the military, however once I landed a desk job for the Government I re-ignited my passion.
Why I Love it
For me, bodybuilding is more than a sport or hobby, it has become part of who I am. Not being able to train would be like loosing an a body part. Bodybuilding has helped me get through very difficult times in my life and has always provided me with something to hold on to. I enjoy every aspect of this lifestyle and the achievements that come of it make every weight lifted and every meal consumed feel as if it is serving a purpose outside of the physical realm. Bodybuilding has also taught me self discipline which enables me to succeed in any task I set out to accomplish
