Since high school I have, like most guys, lifted weights off and on, but nothing serious and no specific routine. I was injured at work a few years ago and after several surgeries I was in physical therapy and that is where I got motivated and started working out. I came up with my own routine which I thought was good and it did provide some gains, but didn't take me as far as I had wanted. I started one from Bodybuilding.com and have seen real good gains. I started taking my diet a little more serious recently and am eating healthier. This was a few years ago, this past year has taken its toll on me. Working too much from home, too many distractions, and lost my fitness focus, I am hoping to stay and complete this challenge and be the best me.
Any help and motivation would be appreciated. I know what I need to do but sometimes it is tough to do it.
For me I now enjoy being in good shape. But if I don't workout for several weeks my lower back starts hurting and keeps me in constant pain. When I exercise I do not have the constant pain, so this is another motivator for me.
