I weighed 273 lbs and I felt downright unhappy.. .who wants to live a life feeling that way? I didn't.. I was once this "Why me"' person. When I had my daughter, I realized its time to change my outlook on myself and my life. I was a single parent raising her and it was my job to be positive and healthy. I owed this to my little one. I got tired of being a victim and got into to gym. It became my therapy. I would eat, sleep and breath the gym. Once I got a trainer who helped coach and push me I had a goal. Guess what the goal was! To wear a one-piece bathing suit and not have to put a tank top over it. It was that simple. Well, it didn't stop there. I achieved it. My goals grew bigger. I decided to do a fitness competition. I committed myself to this goal and did my first competition in 2011. I also obtained my personal training license and now on my journey to turn pro.
